Trained, bonded, and insured
Safety is our #1 priority because we understand your peace of mind comes from knowing your pet is safe and your home is respected.
When in our care dogs will never be off-leash outside (except in a fully fenced backyard). For safety, we do not visit dog parks. If your cat is an outdoor cat, we ask that while in our care the cat remain indoors.

FOUNDING STORY
Why Modern Floof?
Modern Floof is a pet care and home concierge company started after the founder moved to a new city and could not find custom pet care. She needed to be able to fully trust someone with her senior pets (her entire world!) as well as trust someone in her beloved home.
Boarding was not an option and finding in-home care was time consuming and stressful. She felt like she needed to work around the schedule of the people looking to be hired vs. the other way around. After hearing one too many less than ideal stories from fellow pet owners—and even stepping in when their sitters failed to show—Kate set out to create a pet care company that sets a standard and truly delivers custom services, professionalism, and peace of mind.
Since 2023 Modern Floof has grown to welcome 100+ clients. Our mission is to ensure pets are treated like royalty and feel at ease while their humans are away. We also want you to feel confident that your pet (& home) are well taken care of in a professional, confidential, and trustworthy manner. Modern Floof believes there should be a standard for pet care and we are here to set the bar high.

Prices include maximum 3 pets (dogs and/or cats). Additional pets can be included for a fee provided all bylaws and rules (condo, rental etc.) are being abided by.
Constant Care
$45/hour (min. 3 hour)
Your pet enjoys loving companionship and support at all times- especially perfect for puppies, pets in recovery, and senior queens and kings.
Drop-in Visits
$55/visit (45 min)
Reliable check-ins to feed, walk, and care for your pet when you travel or have long days away from home. Visits are timestamped with GPS updates and always include photos, videos, and even FaceTime calls upon request.
Custom Requests
$75/hour (min. 4 hour)
Out of the box, personalized services, tailored your way- think appointments, travel, pet errands, event pet attendant – requests are welcomed!
Almost Overnight
$160/day
1 hour morning visit, 1 hour mid-day visit, 1.5 hour evening visit. The visit times can be personalized based on your schedule and pets routine.
Overnight
$225/night
A sitter will stay in your home from 7:00pm to 7:00am to ensure meals, walks, and lots of cuddles are provided. A drop-in can also be booked for during the day.
Ultimate Pawcation
$350/day
Around-the-clock care for pet(s) that can’t be left alone for more than short periods at a time. This is a highly personalized service based on your individual needs and daily routine. Light home care is also provided.
